Vegetable cutters in stainless steel for decorative vegetable cuttings, a classic tool in Japanese kitchen culture. The cutters are pressed down through sliced carrot, daikon, radish or similar root vegetables and cut out neat shapes used as garnishes in bento boxes, at New Year tables and in restaurant presentation. The cutters also work in soft cheeses, butter and jelly dishes.
The set contains six traditional Japanese shapes: sakura (cherry blossom), kikyo (bellflower), ume (plum blossom) and kiku (chrysanthemum) in 35 mm diameter, plus matsu (pine) and take (bamboo) in rectangular format.
