"Ion exchanger that is mounted on the wall and connected to the existing water tap. With this, you can deionize water from the tap to get the right balance in your molecular cooking if, for example, you want to make spheres from troublesome raw materials. Turn on the tap and drain the deionized water via the hose to the desired vessel.
Destillo 2 has a capacity of 800ml per minute and one cartridge is capable of producing 320 liters of deionized water at a water hardness of 10°dH, and 750 liters at a water hardness of 5°dH. I think with these reference points you can figure out how much it can handle in your municipality. Since you are even looking at this product, you are probably a nerd and good at science including math.
On the top of the unit is a digital conductivity meter that shows when you need to change the cartridge. Orange light means it's time to order and red sound means it's time to change.
