It measures 100 x 38 x 35 mm, is pressed in one piece without seams and works just as well for lemon cake and fruit cake as for savoury versions with olives and cheese, the way the French make their cake salé. It is sold individually.
The mould is made of aluminium with a non-stick coating that spreads the heat evenly and releases the cake without greasing. It handles 250°C and is made in France by Gobel, who have been making bakeware since 1887.
