These extra large charcoal blocks are specially adapted for Josper grill ovens, but they also work perfectly well in larger grills. Extremely long burning time thanks to the large blocks and the high energy content, which gives very high temperatures with good oxygen availability. The clean combustion also minimises the remaining ash. The high and consistent quality has meant that this coal is widely used in Michelin restaurants worldwide. Josper has new packaging for the coal since 2021, now they are packaged in brown paper bags, previously it was a nylon bag. Same carbon - more environmentally friendly packaging!
