The unit comes complete with an 800 mm wide paella pan in sheet steel, gas hose, pressure regulator and electronic ignition. The burner is round and centrally placed with 7.0 kW output and consumes 489 g of propane per hour at full capacity. A 5 kg cylinder lasts approximately 10 hours, an 11 kg cylinder approximately 22 hours. The larger cylinder is practical for longer events and fits under the burner, with a 5 kg cylinder as an alternative.
The thermocouple is an active safety system: if the flame goes out, for example in wind, it automatically shuts off the gas supply. The burner section is removable for cleaning.
