The unit comes complete with a 600 mm wide paella pan in sheet steel, gas hose, pressure regulator and electronic ignition. The burner is round and centrally placed with 4.8 kW output and consumes 334 g of propane per hour at full capacity, meaning a 5 kg cylinder lasts approximately 15 hours.
The thermocouple is an active safety system: if the flame goes out, for example in wind, it automatically shuts off the gas supply. The burner section is removable for cleaning. A gas cylinder of 5 or 6 kg fits under the burner.
