Since 1829, the small town of Laguiole in Aveyron in southwest France has been producing what many consider to be the world's best corkscrews and food knives. Just as when production began, each knife is still made entirely by hand by skilled craftsmen with long experience, to say the least. The small bee, placed between the handle and the blade, has become the company's signature that has made them famous all over the world.

The knife blade is 12 cm long, the whole knife 22 cm, and is made of stainless T12 steel, specially designed and developed by Laguiole. The steel is very durable and keeps its sharpness for a long time.
The steel is polished and the handle is made of micarta in red. Micarta is a hard pressed mixture of fabrics, including linen. The material is often used as a handle for knives and is very hard and durable.
The knives are packed in a gift box and of course with a certificate of authenticity.
