Top quality round cast iron casserole from French company Staub for versatile cooking. Staub pots are made from the very best materials and have long been used by top restaurants around the world. The inside is covered with a durable layer of matte black enamel, which not only prevents the pot from rusting or discoloring, but also provides a highly effective non-stick coating that prevents food from burning. The cast iron ensures an efficient and even heat distribution throughout the pot.
The lid is designed to allow the water that condenses during cooking to drip back into the pot, preserving the flavor, minerals and vitamins of the food.
The pot can be used on all types of stoves and in ovens up to 260 degrees. It is machine washable, but as some dishwasher detergents contain corrosive substances, hand washing is recommended. Comes with a lifetime warranty for any defects in materials or workmanship.
