The perfect match for anyone wanting to handle 60 kilos of meat on a spit!
The output is 7.2 kW distributed across four individual heating zones, each built behind Robax glass and adjustable across five settings. A practical consequence is that the heat effect along the spit can be adapted to how the meat is structured, rather than running everything at full power and hoping for the best.
The distance from the spit to the heating elements is also adjustable, which sounds like a detail but in practice noticeably affects the end result: shorter distance gives faster surface browning, longer gives more even heating through. The motor sits at the top and can run in both rotation directions to match a drain on either side of the world.
The two reflector shields on the sides are angled to direct heat back towards the meat, and fat collects in a removable drip tray below. The usable spit length is 650 mm with a maximum meat block diameter of 300 mm.
One thing to verify before ordering: the unit requires 400 V, i.e. three-phase. That is standard in this power class but far from all premises have it installed, and unfortunately not many spare rooms either. Note also that installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician. The weight is 30 kg, so it is not a unit that gets moved around unnecessarily.
Dimensions: 550×700×1120 mm (WxDxH).
