The griddle plate is 316×380 mm and made of 8 mm hardened steel with good heat capacity. The temperature is continuously adjustable up to 300°C. The housing is stainless steel with splash guards and a removable drip tray for fat and food residue.
The plate is cleaned with a steel brush or scraper. There is an overheating protection with a resettable safety switch and a power switch with indicator lamp.
