The cotton material absorbs excess moisture from the dough during proofing and prevents the surface from drying out unevenly, giving a more consistent and predictable result when baking off. The elastic keeps the liner in place in the basket without needing to be sewn in or clamped.
The liner is washable and reusable. Available in three sizes to fit Schneider's standard dimensions for oval proofing baskets: 12x27 cm, 13x35 cm and 14x42 cm.
