A Prima Matera series tray pan from French De Buyer. Perfect for frying, sautéing, making caramel or just showing off because it's so insanely gorgeous! Prima Matera pans are made with 90% copper and 10% AISI 304 stainless steel. Copper provides a fantastically fast and even heat distribution, while the stainless steel interior is all the more pleasant for food contact and means you don't have to pre-ignite the pan. The low percentage of stainless steel is to just cover the inside without compromising the beneficial properties of copper. The handle is made of cast steel in a curved French style that is both ergonomic and comfortable. The bottom is fixed to withstand all heat sources including induction. It is also oven safe.
