Worth knowing about your cooling tray.
Before the cooling tray is used, it is placed in the freezer (-18°C) for at least four hours.
The tray must be laid flat so that the liquid-filled freezer bags inside the tray are not compressed and frozen unevenly.
When the tray is first taken out of the freezer, condensation initially forms on top of the tray. The condensation can be wiped off before adding chilled food. Preferably use flat plates and dishes to maximize the contact surface with the cooling tray. For the same reason, it is good to use wide and low containers for juice and milk, etc.
The cooling tray can only be cleaned with a damp cloth, not in the dishwasher or running water.
The tray is insulated at the bottom and on the sides to direct the cold towards the food and avoid condensation dripping. The tray is made of 18/8 stainless steel in sizes GN 1/1, 1/2 and 1/3. Stay Cool!
