Shimmy is a coffee sieve for those who have a slightly unreliable grinder. With the help of shimmy you can sift out all the small particles and coffee dust that clog the filter and give an uneven pour-over brew, something that surely everyone who has brewed Chemex with coffee ground in a cheap grinder can recognize themselves in. Even those who only brew French press will not have avoided sump in the cup 100% of the time, until now of course. Pour in your ground coffee and shake to get rid of all particles finer than 200 microns. Easy to disassemble and clean, and easy to pour your filtered coffee right into the filter for your particular brewing method.
