Ayayayay!!! Here comes the coolest coffee maker we have ever seen and sets a whole new bar for what a coffee maker can do. We have become accustomed to Fellow making innovative, stylish and quality coffee equipment and this brewer is no exception!
Fellow Aiden wants to get the quality and control of a pour over brewer but the smoothness of a coffee maker and has succeeded. For those who just want to brew coffee easily and smoothly, it is advantageous to use one of the preset programs and brewing is started at the touch of a button. For those who want more, there is more. This coffee maker has so many wonderful features and functions that it feels impossible to put together a sensible and readable description without getting lost.
Brewing:
Use any of the pre-programmed settings to reach your preference, or take the craft from pour over to your brewer. Not only can you set the exact temperature of the brew, you can also set the bloom time, water pulsing, how many times to pour the water and at what time interval to repeat them. The water dispenser mimics a hand brew and the spread of the water can be set in size depending on whether you are building only one cup directly in the cup, a smaller pot for two people or a full thermos. The flowering time and the amount of water can be set and you can also adjust the temperature of the flowering. In addition, you can set different temperatures for the different repetitions of water supply if you pulse brew.
Technology:
The elements provide a ridiculous precision of temperature control and can be controlled in the smallest detail. Each setting is easy to adjust directly on the brewer with a knob and a button that we have become accustomed to since old with Fellows products. For those who can't tear themselves away from the screen, the option to control the settings via the app is perhaps preferable? It also regularly releases custom brew cycles from some of the world's best coffee roasters, so you can brew their coffee at home - just the way the roasters themselves want it brewed! You can also set the brewing time to have the cup ready immediately when you wake up, come home from work or if you wake up in the middle of the night with a screaming coffee craving at the same time every day.
The brewer:
As usual, Fellow has created a product with both characteristic and stylish design. Finally, the coffee maker is reasonable to put in a corner as everyone really wants it. The water tank is neatly integrated on today and is removed to be easily filled under the tap (but of course preferably with filtered water without lime). The jug itself is of course a thermos and keeps the perfect temperature regardless of the environment. The unit is stylish in black with a single button and a small discreet display. Inside the lid is a silicone gasket that prevents vapors and condensation from messing with the cabinet doors above. If you don't want the cord to be visible when you're not using it, twist it up and store it under the brewer. Others before us have dared to call it the best coffee maker on the market, and those are not people we want to tangle with.
The Fellow Aiden is compatible with the number 2 coffee filters, not the 1x4 that is often standard on European coffee makers. For larger brews, batch filters in sizes 8-12 cups can also be used. 15 of each are included in the package.
