30 DAYS OPEN PURCHASEA half bottle of wine, or two glasses from an opened bottle, deserves to breathe too. Star Mini is the small version of Zieher's Star decanter, with the same star-shaped punt in the base but in a size suited to wine by the glass and smaller bottles.
The star rises up into the decanter and sets the wine in motion when you swirl it, so the wine is aerated evenly and gently. When light falls through the glass and the wine, patterns form that make it just as beautiful to look at as to use. It holds approx. 0.7 litres, but for the best aeration pour in no more than 375 ml – a half bottle.
The small size also makes it handy as a carafe for water or cocktails, and it suits red, white and rosé. The decanter is made of durable borosilicate glass. It is dishwasher safe, but we recommend hand washing to keep the glass sparkling.
