The starting point for your sous vide! A plastic canteen made of durable polycarbonate (plastic) that is 20 cm deep together with a lid that is cut out to fit most sous vide circulators, such as Anova, Champion, Twist etc. The cut-out hole in the lid is 7 cm in diameter. Canteen dimensions: 32.5 x 26.5 cm x 20 cm Volume: max 11 liters. Historically, the canteen was the name of the place where the soldiers ate (as opposed to the mess where the officers took their meals). Canteens are large serving containers in commercial kitchens, made of stainless steel or plastic. A canteen can also be called a vessel or vat.
