Whole tomatoes from Campania with authentic Neapolitan flavor. The perfect choice for those who want to cook authentic Italian food with the wonderful flavor of sun-ripened tomatoes without being so pretentious that only San Marzano will do.
These tomatoes have a softer texture and more acidity than San Marzano and make them the perfect choice in a tomato sauce or stew. As usual, it is the highest quality that counts when it comes to Casa Marrazzo, but while a San Marzano is unbeatable on a pizza, this is fully capable in the context, and perhaps an even better choice in a stew with a lot of other flavors where the San Marzano is not allowed to shine alone. The tomatoes are processed only a few hours after harvest so that they retain all the characteristics and aromas of the tomatoes. They are hand-picked and then packed with some fresh basil and soon you are serving the family a wonderful pasta Alfredo.
