There's a moment in every cake bake that's more nerve-racking than all the others: when a finished cake layer or a whole Bundt cake has to be moved from the rack to the serving plate. One spatula is too small, two spatulas are too wobbly, and lifting with your hands often ends with a cake in three pieces. The cake lifter is the answer.
It's a large, flat stainless steel spatula that slides under the whole cake and carries it safely without bending or cracking. Use it to move cake layers when building a layer cake, to lift a Bundt cake or cheesecake onto a plate, or to move a pizza, a pie or a whole loaf from the tray. It's just as good for sliding things in and out of the oven.
The blade is made of stainless steel with a smooth, polished surface and the beech handle sits firmly in the hand. Wash by hand.
Nordic Ware is the family business from Minneapolis that has been making bakeware since 1946 and invented the Bundt pan in 1950.
