Bunka is a knife model that corresponds to what we in Europe call a chef's knife. This is a regional variant of santoku or gyoto as the chef's knife models are otherwise called, but with a clearer angle down on the tip which gives a good precision. The Pro House is a perfect beginner's knife for those who want to move towards Japanese knives but start simple. The Pro House is made from one layer of MV steel that is riveted to the handle with three rivets. The handle is made of pakka wood which is a composite of wood fiber and epoxy that becomes compact and water resistant. The knife is easy to sharpen and keeps its sharpness well.
