Brioche à tête is the French brioche with a head: a fluted base with a little ball on top, and it is the fluted mould that gives it its silhouette. Without the right mould it is just a sweet bun, and we are too fancy for that.
This box holds six moulds with ten flutes and an 80 mm diameter, so everyone at the breakfast table gets their own. The coating is a two-layer, PFAS-free non-stick that Gobel describes as one of the thickest around, so the dough releases without greasing. The mould handles 250°C and is made in France by Gobel, who have been making bakeware since 1887. It also works for small cakes and desserts that want to look a bit more French.
