Bread bin from the Tierra series by Guzzini with a bamboo lid that also works as a cutting board. A practical solution that allows bread to be stored and sliced in the same place without filling the kitchen counter with extra tools.
The bread bin is spacious enough for loaves, rolls and other freshly baked bread while keeping the worktop tidy. The flat bamboo surface of the lid works as a stable cutting board when it is time to slice the bread, and when you are done you simply place it back on the bin again.
The container is made from recycled plastic from water bottles (one bin corresponds to 26.8 bottles), creating a lightweight yet durable material suitable for everyday use in the kitchen. The combination of the matte plastic surface and the natural bamboo lid also gives the kitchen counter a warm and modern look.
The Tierra series is designed to combine function, sustainability and Italian design, and this bread bin is a good example of exactly that.
