-- Basic recipe for Belgian Waffles --
5 dl wheat flour
1 dl granulated sugar
4 dl milk
1 1/2 dl melted butter
2 eggs
3 tsp baking powder
1-2 tsp vanilla sugar
Combine the ingredients in a bowl and whisk well so that the batter is free of lumps.
Let the batter swell for at least 30 minutes before frying the waffles in a heated Belgian waffle iron.
Serve the waffles warm with melted dark chocolate and whipped cream.
