Jealous Devil is a very high quality and professional charcoal manufacturer that has Chunx XL as its own signature charcoal. This is a charcoal with really large pieces, called Hardwood Lump Charcoal, which is of incredibly high quality. The charcoal is made of compact wood, which gives the charcoal pieces a high density, and in the charring process, special attention is paid to keeping the charcoal as clean as possible. The result is a compact charcoal with a fantastic burn time and incredible heat output. Plus, you get a cleaner flavor and aroma with no bitterness. Whether grilling vegetables, meat or fish, fast and hot or slow smoking, the performance, heat, flavor and burn time will feel totally superior.
The charcoal is made from 100% Quebracho Blanco, a wood known for its hardness. Its compactness means that the risk of flames, sparks and other flying objects will be a thing of the past. It also produces less ash and less dense smoke. Can reach over 600°C and can last over 20 hours at a lower temperature when smoking. Over four hours burning time at high temperatures. On top of that, the packaging is waterproof and resealable, unlike paper bags which attract moisture and flavor and can lose effectiveness over time.
This charcoal is recommended for both home and professional use in restaurants and catering. Otherwise they wouldn't call it Ultra-Premium either.
