2021 is the 75th anniversary of Nordic Ware and this is celebrated with a new collection, the 75th Anniversary Braided Bundt Collection! The mold has a braided design that provides a beautiful and detailed pattern on the cake. The mold is made of cast aluminum with a non-stick coating, which means that the pastry comes off easily and is baked in an even and efficient way.
To get a good result, it is important to let the pastry rest in the mold for 10 minutes before turning it upside down after baking, then it comes off easily from the mold which has a non-stick coating. The mold is not dishwasher safe.
Using Nordic Ware's molds:
- Wash the mold with warm water and detergent before first use and after each time you bake in the mold.
- Before each baking, grease the mold thoroughly. Use a pastry brush if you have a mold with a lot of details. Sift the flour or cocoa to cover the butter.
- Recipes may vary, only fill the pan ¾ of the way to avoid overflowing the batter.
- Avoid metal utensils that may scratch the non-stick coating.
