Care tips for cutting boards
- Wooden cutting boards should never go in the dishwasher or be washed with dish soap - it dries out the wood and puts it at risk of cracking. Hot water and a scrubbing brush is more than enough!
- Wash the entire board on both sides after use, so that only part of it doesn't get wet and soak up water.
- Let wooden boards air dry upright, so the cut surfaces don't end up sitting in moisture.
- Wooden cutting boards should be oiled regularly. We recommend massaging the cut surface with a neutral cooking oil or cutting board oil.
