24 centimetres is a blade length you notice. It gives you more room on long cuts, a smoother pass through large ingredients and a natural rhythm in techniques where the blade mustn't run out halfway through the motion.
The MC63 powder steel core is ice-hardened with the CRYODUR process at minus 196 degrees to 63 HRC and hand-finished using the three-step Honbazuke technique to an angle of 9.5 to 12 degrees per side.
