VA02 SET consists of 16 pieces of cutlery in matt-finished 18/10 stainless steel, 4 tablespoons, 4 table forks, 4 table knives and 4 coffee spoons, plus a holder shaped like a screw head in a matching finish. The holder arrives in parts and is assembled by you. That is not a packaging flaw. It is part of the point: the connection between industrial assembly and design is built into the object itself.
Cutlery like this does not change how the food tastes. It changes what happens around it. Something about the unusual form, the matt surface, the holder that looks as though it came from a mechanical setting, invites conversation before the first course has even been served.
