Ideal for grinding dry ingredients such as coffee beans, flour and spices, and kneading dough. Instead of pulling the ingredients down into the jug, these blades push the ingredients up. As dry mixing requires the jug to be non-wet, it is ideal to have a jug for that specific application.
This jug is only compatible with Ascent series machines (A3500i, A2500i, A2300i).
SELF-DETECT™ and Interlock technology means that when the jug is used with an Ascent machine, the machine detects which container it is, and automatically adjusts settings and mixing time to the size of the container. Interlock technology also prevents the machine from starting if the lid is not in place.
Easily cleaned with a drop of detergent and lukewarm water - run at maximum speed for 30 - 60 sec. Also dishwasher safe.
Made from BPA-free Tritan copolyester.
Laser cut blades made from hardened stainless steel.
3 year warranty.
What distinguishes the dry blade from the wet blade?
The dry blade is designed to effectively separate the ingredients from each other and quickly push the contents upwards. This prevents them from clumping together or overheating, which is particularly important in baking recipes. The knives in our wet blades, together with the shape of the jug, are designed to quickly pull the ingredients down towards the blades for faster, more efficient mixing.
